How do I supply artwork for NCR sets, pads and books?

Please ensure that your artwork has the following.

• 300dpi resolution
• Supplied at full size
• 5mm nonprintable area
• CMYK PDF
• Outlined or embedded fonts

NCR Pads and Sets

We require artwork to be supplied as per our template specifications. For all our NCR products, we have a mandatory 5mm non-printable area that runs around the edge of the page. This area is used by grippers on our machines during production therefore we cannot print any ink in this area. We recommend that no background images or graphics are used near the edge of the page.

We also recommend an additional 5mm safe zone area to ensure that all important content is safely away from the cutting edge. In total, please try and keep all content a full 10mm away from the edge of the page.

NCR Books

NCR books have an additional nonprintable area on the spine edge, as this is the area where the book gets bound and taped. Again, we cannot print in this area and recommend that no graphics are within this section.

The bound and tape edge is dependent on the size that you select.

• A4 – Long edge
• A5 – Short edge
• A6 – Short edge
• DL – Short edge.
