How durable is Correx board?

Correx boards are made from high-impact polypropylene resin, a type of plastic known for its toughness and resilience. The structure of Correx is similar to cardboard, consisting of three layers: two flat outer layers and a fluted middle layer. This corrugated design gives Correx its strength while keeping it lightweight.

 

Water

Polypropylene, the material used in Correx boards, is inherently water-resistant. This makes Correx ideal for applications where exposure to moisture is expected. Unlike paper-based products, Correx does not absorb water, swell, or degrade when wet.
