The metal spine extends roughly 10mm into the page, so to keep your content clear and readable, we recommend leaving at least 15mm of space between important text and the spine.

Since the spine’s safe zone shifts from left to right on alternating pages, proper pagination is key. If you’re using professional book design software like InDesign, setting up alternating margins will ensure everything stays perfectly aligned. |
For a simpler solution, apply a 15mm side margin to all pages and centre the body text. This way, no matter which page is printed, your text remains safely positioned away from the spine. |
