We run a 40-point check on your print-ready artwork as part of our Just Print service.
Your file is analysed at the upload stage, and you’ll know almost instantly if it passes our inspection.
40-Point Checks for Just Print Include:
- Verifying file type.
- Converting to PDF.
- Checking if the file is corrupt.
- Detecting password-protected files.
- Ensuring the file dimensions match the expected size.
- Checking for unembedded fonts.
- Identifying non-printable areas.
- Checking foil line weight.
- Verifying PANTONE colours (where applicable).
- Checking KissCutting and white layers (where applicable).
- Confirming template overlay for specific products (e.g., folders, flags).
- Ensuring the correct number of files.
- Verifying the correct number of pages.
- Reviewing layers.
- Checking white knockouts.
- Setting the trim box.
- Setting the bleed box.
- Converting LAB colour to CMYK.
- Converting RGB to CMYK.
- Converting UV files to black only.
- Converting Spot to CMYK where appropriate.
- Fixing full-colour blacks.
