What Does PP Stand For In Printing Terms?

Pages Printed (PP)

When we speak about PP while setting up a design for print, we are refereeing to the Pages Printed (PP) on a sheet. In simple terms, this basically means the sides of the page that will be printed on and how many panels will be available once the paper has been folded.

An Example of a PP Reference

If a standard double-sided sheet has two sides, it will be referred to as a 2PP

If the sheet is folded in half, it will have 2 panels on each side – 4PP

When the page is folded twice to create a roll fold or z fold, this creates 6PP. 3 panels on each side
