What Does Set Off Mean?

Set off is the printing term that refers to colours within your print being transferred to other areas of the job.

In many cases it isn’t just the transfer of one sheet of print to another, it can be from within the printing press where wet ink can build up over time and dry.

This is an unfortunate occurrence whereby ink marks can be left on the print job in hand. We aim for this not to happen but as with all things, sometimes this can’t be helped.
