What Is Top and Left Binding?

What Is The Difference Between Top & Left Binding?

The binding is the bit of the publication where all the pages are bound together.

Top binding refers to a publication where the top is bound or stuck together.  This is really common on A4 notepads, the type you plough through at college and university.

Left binding is where the pages are bound on the left, and the publication can be opened and read like a book.  Left binding is the most common binding for books and booklets.
