It’s about the same size as a credit card, which makes it ideal for slipping into wallets, cardholders, or lanyards without any fuss.

Design Tips for Print-Ready Business Cards

To get the best results when printing your business cards:

  • Add a 3mm bleed around all edges. For a UK card, that means setting up your artwork at 91mm x 61mm.

  • Keep your important info—like your name, logo, and contact details—within a “safe zone” of about 79mm x 49mm so nothing gets trimmed off.

  • Always design in CMYK colour mode and export as a PDF/X-1a for print-ready perfection.
